Career & Education

I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, a Research Master’s in Pharmacological Development of Drugs, and a postgraduate certificate in Pharmacology and Pharmaceutical Marketing.
My early career includes hospital experience, particularly in clinical pharmacy, followed by several years in the pharmaceutical industry in clinical research and pharmacovigilance.
Medical writing has always been an integral part of my journey, both in the hospital settings, where I authored scientific publications in French and English, and in the pharmaceutical industry, where I performed several writing tasks, such as drafting clinical data and pharmacovigilance reports, as well as a therapeutic patient education guide.
My passion for languages and medical writing, developed throughout my journey, led me to specialize in medical translation. As part of this career transition, I completed an intensive two-year training program in general and medical translation, which included personalized guidance, expert feedback, and extensive practice on substantial translation volumes. Upon completion, I obtained a Level 7 French RNCP Translator Diploma and a Professional Certificate in Medical Translation Services.
Since the beginning of my career as a medical translator, I contributed to the improvement and harmonization of terminology and glossaries used by my clients. This recognized expertise gradually led me to work on terminology management projects, audits and medical writing advisory assignments. In addition to specialized translation, I now provide medical-linguistic consulting services, combining my in-depth medical knowledge with my linguistic expertise. Thanks to this dual expertise, I work with pharmaceutical industry stakeholders, including internationally renowned CROs, on projects involving the translation, revision and harmonization of clinical and regulatory documents, along with the terminology management assignments. I also have proven experience in linguistic validation, supporting workflows managed by specialized teams, grounded in my scientific expertise as a Doctor of Pharmacy. I mainly provide in-depth review, cultural adaptation and harmonization of COA/PRO instruments. More information is available on the "medical-linguistic services" section.

I am also part of the international team at Medical Translation Experts for CROs (MTEC) as a French medical linguist. MTEC supports CROs and pharmaceutical industry stakeholders by providing high-quality linguistic services for clinical and regulatory documentation, operating in line with regulatory standards and a four-eyes quality review principle. Within this framework, I bring my medical, regulatory and linguistic expertise, including in linguistic validation and terminology management projects.
I would be delighted to share my portfolio showcasing a selection of project samples. It demonstrates my commitment to delivering medical-linguistic services, which are high-quality, audience-tailored, contextually appropriate and regulatory-compliant, where applicable. Due to confidentiality agreements (NDAs), client names cannot be disclosed. However, recommendations from a senior medical translator and member of the French Association of Translators (Société française des traducteurs
SFT), as well as from my former managers and colleagues, are available on my LinkedIn profile. These testimonials showcase my added value, scientific rigor, professionalism and adaptability across diverse professional contexts, including medical writing.
Finally, as a pharmacist, medical translator and terminologist, I continuously update my knowledge by following up-to-date medical research and therapeutic news. This ongoing professional development ensures that my work remains aligned with the current regulatory standards and evolving medical terminology.
