Why is French my target language?

 

To ensure high-quality services, I translate exclusively into French, one of my native languages and my language of specialization, which I master best in the medical and professional contexts. My higher education completed entirely in French, and my intensive translation training (English → French) enabled me to strengthen both my writing and linguistic skills. Thanks to my dual cultural background and professional experiences in France, I am confident I can deliver nuanced translations tailored to the French-speaking medical context.

 

Why is English my primary source language?

Thanks to my experiences in the pharmaceutical industry, I had the opportunity to apply and develop my English language skills (the lingua franca of clinical research) in professional contexts, acquiring a nuanced understanding of medical English (English for Medical Purposes, EMP). I worked daily with clinical trial documents in English and I regularly communicated with international teams at investigational sites.

 

 

Why is Arabic my second source language?

 

I have a strong command of Modern Standard Arabic, which I learned over many years during my childhood, along with a solid understanding of its regional variants. My regular review of medical articles in Arabic, combined with my expertise in medical terminology, enables me to translate from Arabic into French with accuracy and cultural sensitivity. Additionally, I had the opportunity to use Arabic in professional contexts, particularly in hospital settings for medication dispensing and patient therapeutic education.
Although this language is rarely used as a source language in clinical trials, the Arabic → French combination can be useful for patient-facing documents or other materials intended for the general public.
